End Result- Pathological Liar- Narcissitc Personality?

I posted twice the outcome of my 1 yr relationship with a 29 year old man who broke my heart due to the fact that he indicated that he was in trouble with the law, fleeeing to ecuador and was incabable of having children. I am a mature, professional who walks a straight line and fell in love with someone that turned out to barely have a job, lives at home with his parents. I have come to find that he has been lying about trivial matters to my face. It makes me wonder if he has been lying about the bigger picture such as the lawsuit, living in ecuador, etc.. I have caught him in many lies and he saids he has no reason for what he does. The problem is - is that he brings me to the point of frustration/hatred for the deception and then sends me a sympathy letter about the reasons he is the way he is and it manipulates me to feel sorry for him again. Any advice on letting go?
