When a star explodes, is this a supernova? then does it become a black hole? and what is a neutron star?

A supernova is the "death of a mive star in the event when the star runs out of hydrogen then collapses on it's self making either a neutron star or a black hole. A neutron star is what happens when a star is fairly mive and dies. It has a VERY strong magnetic field and is quite dense and if it's magnetic poles are opposite of it's rotation( which is quite fast) it will make a pulsar which shoot out gamma radiation ( the same stuff from the hulk but real)out is it's poles. A black hole is when hyper mive stars die and collapse on themselves making a very dense sphere with so much gravity light can't escape it
