Why give more money to the fbi, since they're not able to enforce the immigration laws?

and i only ask this because i don't feel i should have to pay yet even more in taxes because...as the fbi spokesman said on c-span- that we have an increase in crime and gangs in the last couple of years.. and I know it's because of the illegals and he just can't find it in himself to be politically incorrect, but yet ask for more of my money to be able to give to law enforcement. just my opinion...what do you think about this increase in funding for something that is not being enforced anyway? ...like our border patrol and their hands being tied, but yet we're increasing border patrol on the border...
