Why doesn't Ron Paul have more support from the republican party?

I was watching the Republican debate on ABC the other night, and the other candidates were almost laughing at Ron Paul's Answers and comments. I felt that he made more sense than any of the other candidates. He was not given a change to explain his comments on Monetary policy (Aka. Printing Money) which no other candidate talked about. Without a good touch on monetary policy none of these republican stooges can help the economy grow. Also, i think it is imperative for the other candidates to listen to what Ron has to say on why we were attacked on 911. They seem so shallow to disreguard his remarks and merely blame this confrontation disposition of Islam followers. We are a human nation, and we make mistakes we must accept that and be able to point them out rather blame others. We are becoming the codependant personality of the world. I'm sorry but the republican party will loose my vote if they do not become more open to contestability and employ some better ethics.
