Will a Gastroenterologist be sufficient to treat my Hepatitis C or do I need a Hepatologist?

Also need to know who can see my son. He is 14 and also has Hep-C? Would an infectious disease Dr be fine for him.Honestly I cant find a Hepatologist in my area. Ive checked Google and the Liver foundation. Would really like a specialist, cuz hey Im special.:-)
